Most people are now Buddhists. They believe in Karma and re-carnations. Buddha was once the prince of the great empire. He was to be King of the great kingdom with the most beautiful wife and two cute children. The Buddha had visions as he was a young prince when he went for a journey outside of his palace. He understand that human going through their life by suffering through disease, old ages, and death and reborn again. To prevent this circle of life of suffering, Buddha decided to leave his kingdom, his wife and children. He left his palace to find wisdom in the deep forest far away from civilization. Once he was there, he began to meditate in hope to reach the state of enlightenment. He was to discover it through the mind. He sat under the tree for many days in hope for enlightenment. He passed through many stages of temptations and suffering as he sat under the tree. He did not eat and did not speak to anyone for many days. He did not reached the state of enlightenment! , until he returned closer to civilization. He continued to sit and meditate for seven years under the tree of wisdom. People from far and near began to come to worship him and offer him food. They placed their food in front of Buddha and request Buddha to eat and to stop his starvation. Ella Jane Fitzgerald (Newport News, 25 de abril de 1917 - Beverly Hills, 15 de junio de 1996), conocida como Ella Fitzgerald y apodada Lady Ella y The First Lady of Song (La primera dama de la canción), fue una cantante estadounidense de jazz. No obstante esta condición básica de jazzista, el repertorio musical de Ella Fitzgerald es amplísimo e incluye swing, blues, bossa nova, samba, gospel, calypso, canciones navideñas, pop, etc. Junto con Billie Holiday y Sarah Vaughan, está considerada como la cantante más importante e influyente de la historia del jazz (y, en general, de la canción melódica popular). Estaba dotada de una voz con un rango vocal de tres octavas, destacando su clara y precisa vocalización y su capacidad de improvisación, sobre todo en el scat, técnica que desarrolló en los años cuarenta y que anunció el surgimiento del bop.
