1989 MK4 ford escort estate 3 door 1.4L Auto - Need some ideas for this project

I bought this as a birthday present for myself, shes very clean with only 27k, did a check on the dvla site and found all old mots from 96. Not a single fault with any of them, not even a bulb out! Did some more checking and found a site call howmanyleft.co.uk . Turns out (if it true) in this spec, theres only 4 left. So i dont know what to do now. I was going to do the usual and swap engines for a turbo lump, lower it, wheels ice the works. But now im not to sure. All ideas welcome
